As Head of Office (S1) from January 2023 to January 2024, she served as a steadfast anchor for a robust workforce of 850 personnel. She expertly managed the comprehensive staff lifecycle, from the exacting rigors of recruitment and credentialing to the cultivation of dynamic professional development. As a decisive mediator in workplace conflicts, she fostered a disciplined yet equitable environment where every staff member was empowered to deliver exemplary, high-caliber patient care.

Her impact expanded as the Deputy Chief of Total Quality Management (TQM) and Hospital Building Administrator, where she acted as a pioneering architect of institutional excellence. She authored the first comprehensive TQM Office manual, embedding a forward-looking vision and steadfast core values into the organizational culture. At the same time, she spearheaded critical infrastructure enhancements, from overhauling the water reservoir to constructing specialized pathways, ensuring dignified, unhindered access for patients undergoing rehabilitation.

Since assuming the role of Chief, TQM in January 2025, COL BERGONIA has served as the lead strategist for institutional compliance. Her proactive leadership was instrumental during the rigorous 2025 Department of Health (DOH) audit, in which she expedited essential compliance efforts and implemented systemic improvements.

These efforts culminated in a distinguished 94% score for Integrated Hospital Operations and a prestigious 4-star Green Viability Assessment, solidifying the hospital’s reputation for sustainable, world-class healthcare.
