I sit here writing this with my newborn cuddled on my chest, knowing he is here with me because of Dianne. After being transferred over to the Mother/Baby unit, Dianne noticed changes in my son quickly. She calmly and swiftly addressed the situation, advocating for my son while keeping us updated. It was her keen assessment skills and actions that got my baby to the NICU. After all of this, she seamlessly switched modes to caring for me. She provided me with comfort and reassurance during one of the scariest moments in my life. My son is here because of Dianne, and I will never be able to thank her enough.
