I would like to take this opportunity to nominate Nurse Diane McClellan for the DAISY Award in recognition of the outstanding care she provided during my treatment. As a patient with a rare blood disorder, Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura (TTP), I was particularly anxious about the treatment process, especially receiving Rituxan.

Nurse Diane went above and beyond to ensure I was not only safe but also comfortable throughout my entire experience. She took the time to carefully explain each step of the Rituxan infusion process, addressing my concerns and alleviating my fears. Her patience, attentiveness, and thorough explanations made a huge difference in my ability to relax and trust the process.

Even though her shift had ended, Nurse Diane stayed after hours to monitor my reaction to the medication, ensuring that I tolerated it without any complications.
