I am writing to recognize Diane Gause for the exceptional care she provided during my stay. From the moment I arrived, Diane demonstrated a level of compassion and professionalism that truly made a difference in my recovery.

Diane consistently went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and well-being. She took the time to explain each procedure, answer all of my questions, and provide reassurance during some of the more challenging moments. Diane's ability to combine expert clinical skills with genuine empathy was remarkable and greatly appreciated.

One particular instance that stands out is when my recovery room A/C wasn't working. I asked a different nurse for a fan and was told, "We don't have any." Thankfully, Diane went above and beyond for me by bringing me a fan without me even having to ask. This act of kindness not only eased my physical discomfort but also had a profound impact on my emotional state, reminding me that I was in capable and caring hands.

In addition to her outstanding bedside manner, Diane was always attentive and responsive, ensuring that I had everything I needed. Their dedication to patient care is truly commendable and deserving of recognition. I am deeply grateful for the care I received from Diane and believe Diane embodies the qualities the DAISY Award seeks to honor.
