On December 31st, I had surgery to remove tissue expanders and insert implants after a double mastectomy in September for breast cancer. Diane G was there to prep me for surgery. She was very efficient and friendly, and I felt comfortable. After the surgery, she noticed excessive swelling in one breast and notified the surgeon to check me out before release. It was determined that I needed a follow-up surgery. One week later, I had that surgery, and Diane was there to prep for that one as well. She even called me at home two days after the 12/31 surgery to make sure I was doing ok. I am so thankful for her expertise and caring. This could have been much worse.

Diane G. was so kind and friendly when I arrived on March 7th for ganglion cyst removal on my wrist. She was sweet and on top of everything that was going on. She clearly explained everything she was doing and what would happen before and after surgery. Diane made me feel comfortable and safe. It was a great experience because of her. She even walked me outside to help me get into our truck!

My husband had procedures at HMC Minor Procedures Department on January 10 and 23, 2025. Through her compassion, cheerfulness, and professionalism, Nurse Diane put both of us at ease. She provided the patient and spouse education about what to expect pre- and post-surgery and told us about pain management. She attended to my husband's needs and our questions efficiently, with warmth and cordiality. We were so pleased to see that Diane was my husband's nurse when he returned for a second procedure at HMC MPD. Nurse Diane G is a tremendous asset to HMC and her patients.

Diane G was my Nurse yesterday. I feel like I have a new friend! She calmed me with smiles and small talk as she set me up and later released me with the same smile and efficient compassion. She's A-Plus and represents Hackettstown Hospital very well.
