She kept on the ball about my mom’s meds, kept her cleaned up, and turned appropriately with such patience as my mom was confused and hurting.
On Sunday, I went to the ER after a couple of weeks of excruciating pain in my back and lack of mobility. The MRI showed an extruding disc, requiring immediate attention. The doctor was very helpful, and patiently described to me the procedure. Another doctor further revised the surgical steps and performed the operation. The day after I was a new man, as I could walk again with no pain in my leg. All the people I met were extremely professional, positive, and always sharing a nice smile, which is so therapeutic for patients. During two shift nights, I was taken care of by Diamond McClain. She was amazing, really nice and patient. I just want to mention she was a true gem to me. Thanks!

My mom was down from Maine visiting my sister in Delaware for Christmas when she came down with blood infection and multiple abscesses in neck requiring multiple laminectomies. The care and respect I saw Diamond display reassured me of the quality of care my mom would receive. I myself am a nurse, and it was comforting to know that the nurses coming into the field are so highly trained and compassionate. She kept on the ball about my mom’s meds, kept her cleaned up, and turned appropriately with such patience as my mom was confused and hurting. I want to say the ninth floor is lucky to have her on their team!
