I am currently writing this with tears in my eyes. My mom was admitted to your hospital on Saturday. She was there until Friday, the day she passed away. She had a history of dementia; she couldn’t walk, talk, or even move by herself. We had an exceptional nurse on the 6th floor, Dexter. I cannot say enough good things about his care for my mother. It wasn’t just normal nursing care; he deeply cared for her and our family. Constantly checking on her and on us, always making sure we had everything we needed.

The Doctor decided to put my mom into comfort care, and he was on top of it. He would play music at night to make her comfortable and relax her. He was our nurse a few times, and I always thanked Jesus when I would see his smiling face! He would pat my back in the middle of the night while I was sitting next to her bed and say, “Talk to her, she still hears you.” I hope you know what a fantastic nurse you have working at your facility! Dexter is a great asset to you, and I am a million times grateful that we were blessed by his presence. He was a blessing to all of our family!
