I had the privilege of being cared for by Derek during my recent hospital stay, and I cannot express how grateful I am for his exceptional care and compassion. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that Derek was dedicated to ensuring my comfort and well-being. His attentiveness to my needs was remarkable. He took the time to listen to my concerns, answer my questions, and provide support that went beyond medical care.

The way he approached every task with kindness and a positive attitude made a challenging experience much more bearable. My daughter is a nurse and asked if a test should be performed to see if I had an infection. Derek reached out to the assigned hospitalist and was told no. Knowing that this was an important concern for us he reached out to a second doctor to present the case clearly, emphasizing the my symptoms, concerns, and the rationale for needing the test.

The test was then ordered. Derek demonstrated immense professionalism, always being thorough and diligent in their duties. He went above and beyond to ensure that I received the best possible treatment and made me feel like I was his top priority. Its rare to find someone who combines such skill with genuine empathy. Derek truly embodies the spirit of nursing.
