My dad had a stroke and was admitted to the hospital. He took a downward turn pretty quickly, and it was an extremely hard time for my family. When I tell you, Mr Mahoney was the best nurse I have ever encountered. I have been in and out of the hospital many times and have been to visit family members many times, and the way he treats his patients is like no one I’ve ever encountered. He’s soft spoken, calls the patient by their name, and he’s gentle and very patient. He treats patients like they are his own family members, and that has meant the world to us. It has been a pretty rough time for us all, and we truly look forward to when he is our dad’s nurse. You definitely have a gem in him….

For his exceptional bedside manner while caring for my grandfather. His patience and kindness during my grandfather’s stay were much appreciated, and he always went above and beyond to make sure my grandfather’s needs were met. He truly treats his patients like family.

Very patient, kind, and gentle, also very nice to our family in asking if we need anything and keeping us informed on everything going on. When compared to others, it felt like he was definitely the best nurse we had. We appreciate him a lot.
