We are proud to recognize Dennis Marbeda as our October DAISY Award recipient. Patients consistently describe Dennis as exceptionally welcoming, compassionate, and attentive. His thoughtful gestures—offering warm blankets and pillows without being asked, checking in often, and ensuring comfort—leave a lasting impact on those he cares for.

Several patients shared that Dennis helped transform stressful ER visits into encouraging and reassuring experiences. His conversations were described as “motivational,” and one patient noted that he is “by far the best registered nurse I have come across.” Even when he is not the primary nurse, Dennis still takes the time to check in, reflecting his commitment to holistic, patient-centered care. Dennis embodies the true spirit of nursing through kindness, presence, and genuine dedication.
