My pregnant wife was at the hospital for the first time, having her first baby, and labor had to be induced due to some complications. There were a lot of questions that we had about fetal movement, heart rate, contractions, epidural, intense blood spillage, and more. Everything was very new to us as we were going through this life-changing experience.

Through this, Demia and the team worked diligently, efficiently, and promptly to help us understand everything that was going on and the potential risks associated with each option. Demia and the team really focused on showing that they truly cared about our concerns and wanted to do whatever they possibly could to help. Her caring attitude through many problems overwhelmed us with gratitude. Every time she entered the room, she brought a smile to our faces! She quickly became more than just a nurse to us, but something deeper. She became a part of our family. Her skills were consistently displayed. Such as, one small example, she analyzed and identified that my wife’s feet were swelling up from the epidural and swiftly elevated the bed, got compression socks, and a second monitor to massage her foot. It wasn’t just the actions that were done, but the joyful and caring attitude that really set a precedent for how the nurse’s position should be done. It was a success. Her professionalism and positive attitude made the experience one to be remembered. Overall, Demi and the team of nurses were The Bomb!!!
