Demetra Teka, RN
Nurse Demi greeted me with exuberant hospitality upon entering the floor. She was very thorough, nice, patient, caring, and had the most outstanding bedside manner ever! She continued to check on me at least every 15 to 20 minutes, making sure I had everything and asking what else she could do for me. She did not miss a single beat.
Her spirit was so warm and welcoming, as if I’d seen an angel. I don’t think I’ve ever felt this welcome and comfortable in a hospital setting in quite some time.
She explained everything she was doing and made sure I was okay beforehand. She was very knowledgeable. She even ran up and down the stairs (not getting on the elevator) to make sure I had a working EKG monitor!
She even wears contacts and glasses like me (inside joke: we can’t see at night). She has a lingering spirit, and I wish she could be my nurse all while I'm here.
