Debbie is always concerned with the Veteran's well-being, as well as taking a positive attitude. I have found with my OCD that I can sometimes be very difficult. That is when her professionalism shows through. Being assertive and helping me not to jump to conclusions. At the same time, she holds her ground. She is one of the most caring nurses I've met at the VAMC. She has enforced the feeling in me that if I(I sure hope not) relapse, not to feel guilty coming back. She also is a good teacher. I think she has a lot to give and gives. Her caring shows through. She takes time for one on one even when very busy! I think she is a vital force in the Salem program. She has helped me see the light in my recovery! Her help, I can't begin to describe fully. Simply put, she is great.
