Debra took the time to listen to me and helped me to get healthy enough to return home. I was a patient who didn’t care to live. I was ready to change my code to DNR. I wouldn’t be alive now if not for her!

She called my brother and updated him so he felt included, and he was relieved where I was concerned. She never made me feel like I was a pain to take care of. I have no doubt she saved my life. She deserves to be recognized as an outstanding RN!

She is totally selfless in every way, and I can’t thank her enough. I am alive due to her empathy! She is absolutely the best asset you could have for an employee of Beacon / Borgess, and she should be recognized as such!
