Deborah Wright, APRN from SCC Infusion Center- As a fellow nurse working alongside Deborah in the infusion space, I have witnessed the impact she has on our patients. One particular instance stands out that truly shows her dedication and compassion. We had a patient who was extremely anxious about starting a new chemotherapy regimen. Deborah immediately noticed the patient’s distress and took the time to sit with them, explaining the treatment process in a calm and reassuring manner. Her ability to connect with patients on a personal level is truly remarkable. During the infusion, Deborah was constantly by the patient’s side, monitoring their comfort and addressing any concerns. She even coordinated with the pharmacy to ensure the medication was prepared promptly, minimizing the patient’s waiting time. Her proactive approach and attention to detail made a difference in the patient’s experience. I am grateful to work alongside such an exceptional nurse who consistently goes above and beyond for her patients.
