Deborah felt compelled to be there for her until the end. After working her 12-hour shift with this patient, she stayed over to see her in the operating room.
We recently had a prior staff nurse as a patient in the ICU. Many employees all over the hospital worked with this Nurse. She was a good nurse and worked here for many years. Unfortunately, this nurse\patient did not survive. She was able to give one of the most precious gifts to others, her organs.

The family had already said their goodbyes and did not want to be present when she was taken to surgery. Deborah felt compelled to be there for her until the end. After working her 12-hour shift with this patient, she stayed over to see her in the operating room. Deborah is so caring and compassionate. I've personally had the pleasure of working with Deborah on 4E. She has grown from a PCT to an LPN to a registered nurse. She went above and beyond to care for her patient. This is the epitome of reverence. Reverence is defined as, profound respect and love. Thank you Deborah for being dedicated to this calling.
