Debbie's kindness and compassion were instrumental in alleviating my anxiety. Her presence alone provided a sense of calm.
I recently underwent a liver biopsy, a procedure that filled me with significant apprehension. Fortunately, Debbie introduced herself and immediately made me feel like a priority. Prior to the procedure, I expressed my nervousness and anxiety, and Debbie provided immense comfort, reminding me of my late mother. Her empathy was profoundly reassuring. Although I was tempted to ask for her hand-holding support during the procedure, I refrained, but when I experienced pain, Debbie instinctively came over and held my hand while the doctor administered additional anesthesia. Following the procedure, I experienced adverse reactions, including shakes, sweats, and pain in my stomach, shoulder, and back. I overheard the doctor inquire if Debbie had taken any action, and she responded that she was prioritizing my medication. In that moment, I felt genuinely prioritized. Debbie's kindness and compassion were instrumental in alleviating my anxiety. Her presence alone provided a sense of calm. I am deeply grateful for her exceptional care and wish she could accompany me to all future medical procedures. Her kindness has left an indelible mark, and I will never forget her compassion. She was truly remarkable, an angelic presence. Debbie made the procedure bearable, and I am thankful to have had her support.
