Our son was born on February 7th and discharged on February 9th, only to be readmitted on February 10th due to elevated bilirubin levels. Debbie took care of him and us for two shifts during our stay. She was so kind, caring, and constantly going above and beyond expectations. She took extra care explaining what was to come and how we were progressing.

During one of his feedings, she stayed to make sure he was feeding good and gave us tips that helped every feed that followed. She even took time to talk to him and comfort him. She was so encouraging and helped to be a positive light in a hard time. She not only cared for him, but our family as a whole. We had our daughter here visiting because she was struggling with mom being away.

When Debbie saw our daughter, who is 3 years old here, she brought in a little gift bag for her and spent time talking with her about her brother and whatever else our daughter brought up. Debbie helped make what would have been an otherwise horrible time into an experience of caring like no one else could. Thank you, Debbie, for being such an amazing nurse. We loved every minute we got to spend with you. You are truly one of the most amazing, caring, kind, and thoughtful nurses I have ever met.
