She makes patients feel comfortable during a potentially stressful medical procedure, such as a blood transfusion.
When I was admitted, I wanted to leave because the doctor didn't put my medications in. I was crying and in pain, and Debbi came into the room and went into action. She called the doctor to the room and made sure all of my medications were put in. She stood by my bedside, hugged me, and comforted me. I had a lot going on personally with my mom dying, and I could not go to the funeral, so I needed someone to talk to. She was my support, and I appreciate what she did for me that night because I wanted to leave the hospital. She goes above and beyond for me, and I was blessed to have her. She is more like family now, and I will miss her clearly when I leave. She is a great nurse.

By looking at someone's eyes, I can tell how they treat people. I see kindness in Debbi's eyes. She is kind to her patients. She is very professional. She took the time to sit with my roommate and me to make sure we were okay. You can tell she really loves her job. She is always happy, which is pleasant for us to see. She pushes us to keep walking and moving. I appreciate the effort and time she puts into her job. She wants us to be well. She goes above and beyond to make sure we are okay. She advocates for me, and I feel safe with her decisions. I feel happy when she walks into my room because I know I will be well cared for.

I was admitted to St. John's Hospital. I needed a blood transfusion. I was so scared of getting it that she stopped what she was doing to help me. She told me to relax, and she helped me through the transfusion. She was my RN, Debbi. She told me what to expect and made me feel so good about doing this blood transfusion. She is an excellent healthcare professional. She deserves a Daisy Award. She is an excellent nurse. I give her 10 stars. She makes patients feel comfortable during a potentially stressful medical procedure, such as a blood transfusion. She is a hallmark of great nursing care. It shows me that she has skills, dedication, and genuine compassion.
