My wife was a hospital patient for nine days, and Deanna was her primary nurse most of that time. Deanna is the epitome of empathy and professionalism. She was always available to provide excellent care and share emotions with my wife when she needed support.

By listening and providing not only care but compassion, Deanna exhibited traits that showed her love of caring for people. She is a natural-born caregiver. My gratitude to her not only lies in her professional duties as a nurse, but also in her ability to have my wife feel as though she was being cared for by a family member.

I cannot give Deanna enough accolades as my wife, and I feel God put her in our lives for a specific reason. I feel Deanna went beyond the norm to make my wife feel comfortable and safe with the care she received. She is to be commended for her ability to make patients feel "at home" in a hospital environment while utilizing her nursing skills to care for them. D
