I brought in my autistic son to see his pediatrician for the last time. My son is a busybody and always on the go. Grabbing at things and very quick. Deanna worked extremely patiently and carefully with my son. She spoke to him and not about him. She read some of his book to him a couple of times. He asked about things in his way of communicating, and she listened, even printing him some pages with symbols that he liked. She went above and beyond and was amazing! Truly caring and great at her job! Mayo needs more nurses like her!
