I would like to nominate Deanna Howard for the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurse Educators in recognition of her exceptional contributions to nursing education and leadership.

As an educator, Deanna plays a pivotal role in maintaining and advancing our educational initiatives and ensuring nursing staff remain engaged, informed, and skilled in the most current practices. In addition, Deanna serves as the Co-chair of our Clinical Education Shared Governance Council, a position in which she has been instrumental in fostering collaboration, professional growth, and engagement among all division educators. She has empowered others to become more involved in shaping our professional practice, helping to create a more inclusive and supportive environment for all!
