DeAnna Eger, BSN, RN
I am 12 years old. I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis this year. I have had to get a lot of IVs, and I am a very hard stick. This makes me really afraid to get them. I am more afraid of not having my medicine.
When I go to the Infusion Center, Deanna helps me. She comforts me. She is always so nice, kind, and cheerful. She makes me feel safe and not scared. She always gets me snacks and a slushy, anything I need.
She listens to me and asks me about my family or something I told her a month ago. She is the best, best, best ever. She really cares about her work and her patients. I think she is amazing.
