September 2026 Honoree
David Cymerman, BSN, RN
I had an upper respiratory infection (bronchitis). David Cymerman was not only there to help; he actually stated that he really loves his job and that getting to help made him feel better, just helping the vets who served. This made me feel better after being treated as though I mattered. His positive attitude about helping was contagious. He’s the type of person needed at any facility where veterans can go for help and feel safe and valued. I really wish there were more people helping us because we really need support.
Even if he doesn't get the recognition he deserves, just his positive attitude towards completing the mission was motivating to me to finish the job with pride and professionalism. Best wishes. David really is a great vet and a better person. I wanted to thank him for his continued service and support.
