As her manager, Darlene is an exemplary employee. She is professional, caring, has a strong work ethic, and does whatever she can to ensure the patients are safe, informed, and comfortable. Please see the two attached items for feedback that I received in the past few days.

I would like to recognize Darlene for being so kind. I got bad news and she was there for me. I was so upset and crying. She hugged me, held my hand, and talked with me to help me calm down. We need more nurses like her. She is fantastic!

My Mom was at this hospital for a few nights and Darlene has been amazing the whole time we were there. But I want to say a few words about this specific night. Her patience, empathy, and helpfulness were out of this world on one of the most difficult nights for me and my Mom. I’m not good with words, I simply lack the skill to tell you how grateful I was to have Darlene with us on that night. Just wanted to show my appreciation from the bottom of my heart.
