I cannot say that I was the best patient. I felt horrible and was an emotional mess. Darla stayed with me throughout it all and was never unkind or impatient. She fought for me the whole way. After spending a total of roughly 15 days in the hospital, I cannot thank her enough. She was the nurse for my last stay. She never got frustrated and made sure I was comfortable, trying to make me laugh. I've stayed in the hospital many times, and she gave me some of the best care.

Darla was both kind and humorous, putting my husband and me at ease after his neck surgery. She was extremely communicative and explained all aspects of his healing and medical needs. She was also responsive! I also observed her training a new nurse from NOC, and she was patient and thorough with her as well. She allowed the student nurse to do the work with guidance, which led to better understanding. She also explained the entire process of release from the hospital, putting us at peace. She is a keeper!
