Our family physician retired after 25 years together. Now we are senior citizens adrift in a sea of the new generation, "don’t care, and it's not my problem" health care workers. Finding the Santo Clinic has been a lifesaver! Back to a real, caring facility that takes the time to know its patients. Their nurse, Danita, is a caring, loving nurse who always goes the extra mile to make a patient feel heard and understood. She doesn't just "phone it in", She actually engages with her patients. She is empathetic and kind and gives a really good shot (you don't even feel it.) Most importantly, she takes the time to listen to you and to really understand what the issue is and why you are at the clinic. If you have a concern, she gives you her full attention. You can call her and she will be there. No question is stupid or too small. She either answers it or finds the answer for you. She never is grouchy, short-tempered, or in a bad mood. She is careful and considerate, and all around—just a really good person. Danita has a wonderful bedside manner. Interested in people and their stories. Kind and extremely efficient.
