Since the very first moment Dani saw me, she was very supportive and quick to action. She went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and taken care of. She was very positive and always spoke highly of the team. Even when I was in a lot of pain, I felt safe and in the right place.

It was when the delivery started that Dani really shone. My delivery was difficult. My baby was big, and her head was “stuck”. The umbilical cord was wrapped around her neck twice. Dani moved my body into different positions; she moved my legs herself to help with pushing, guided me through the process, and was supportive the whole time.

My baby was born blue, not moving, and not crying. I was scared. Dani was constantly telling me I had done a great job pushing and bringing up the positives on the delivery. Dani was really an angel in my life, helping throughout the day. I am forever grateful for what she did for my family. Novant is lucky to have such a remarkable person on their team.
