On Saturday, January 4th, Danielle was the primary RN, and P assisted with the care of a pediatric burn patient. Danielle and P both helped go above and beyond to ensure the patient received the correct care for the best possible outcome. The patient's father called a few days later, inquiring about his son's bill at BRMC, and had this to say, "I want the nurses who took care of my son to know how thankful we are. They saved our son's life by demanding that they get an airway and call the helicopter to take him to Riley Hospital. The doctor did not favor this as an option, but the nurses convinced him. Without the nurse's persistence, our son would have passed, as they are still currently trying to save his airway and keep him alive at Riley." This is a true testament to the excellent care that Danielle and P give to all of our patients at BRMC.
