I’ve had the utmost pleasure of having Danielle across the span of our entire journey. From beginning to end, Danielle remained pleasant, hardworking, and professional. I can confidently say that she is one of the few nurses who follow the rules all the time, every single time. She follows every written order and exercises every precaution. She has a direct way of communicating that conveys intent, but also carries kindness. Even in the most difficult moments, she expresses empathy while commanding a room. She also possesses the “pediatric spark” that can’t be taught. You either have it or you don’t, and my son was very drawn to her ability to play. “Can you play with me, mister?” Danielle reads subtle needs without making a display of her compassion. My husband FaceTimed with my daughter, whom I only see two days a week, and she grabbed a seat to play with and distract J without me asking. She has a mother’s heart and a nurse’s grit. I can genuinely say my body and mind felt actual physical relief when I knew we were blessed with her for a shift. Thank you, Danielle. For everything.
