She handled enormous pressure to make quick decisions to provide excellent care all the while showing compassion and empathy to her patient.
Our 93-year-old mother was a patient at BHF from Oct. 5-16, 2023. However, on Oct. 14, her health began to decline, and it became evident to our family that our mother was not going to be with us much longer. On Sunday Oct. 15, Daniella was assigned as mom's nurse, and she was outstanding! She was very attentive to our mother's needs. She was patient with her, yet worked tirelessly to ensure she was comfortable. Whenever we asked questions, she took the time to explain the care given to mom. When we asked questions, she could not answer, she worked quickly to get the answers for us even contacting the doctor to follow up on the proper care and treatment. On Monday Oct. 16, Daniella was again mom's nurse and went above and beyond to be sure mom received the best possible care and was as comfortable as possible. When our mother passed away, Daniella was very respectful to our mother and our family. We believe Daniella should be recognized for her professional nursing skills. She handled enormous pressure to make quick decisions to provide excellent care all the while showing compassion and empathy to her patient.
