From the moment of first seeing and interacting with Nurse Dan, I felt very safe, calm, and at ease. He is very professional, very caring, and was born to be a nurse! (I told him so, lol.) It takes so much heart and patience to be a nurse. He was attentive, he communicated, and he listened and answered all questions (while taking care of other patients!)

I have a difficult time taking certain medications, and he took the time to get me pudding and water, and then crushed up certain medication to help me take it. When the pulse ox monitor wouldn’t work halfway through my visit of care, he went and got a working one.

I wanted to recommend Nurse Dan for this award because he is excellent at his job duties! Dan was exceptional and needs to be recognized and noticed as an amazing nurse at Salem!
