Brought my son into the ER after a scare that we had with him, and Dan was so comforting, understanding, and welcoming, didn't make me feel like I was overreacting, was very honorable and comparable, and even brought up stories of his kids to make me feel better. Dan is one of a kind. The empathy and understanding that he expressed today I wish there was more people in the world like him. He definitely deserves this award because he is compassionate in his work. You honestly don't find people like him every day, and you guys are lucky to have him on your team.
