She was very professional, caring, kind, and friendly.
1. My mother is 77 years old, and she doesn’t like needles. The catheter that was placed in her left arm developed a bump, so Mrs. Dana, who is the Charge Nurse and was also my mom’s Nurse, took the old one out and placed a new one in her right hand to start her antibiotics. However, my mom started complaining and saying her hand was hurting and starting to get numb. I wish I had told Dana; my mother’s veins were very tiny and flat. Mrs. Dana noticed my mom was in pain and comforted her and let her know everything was going to be ok and that she would let my mom take a break and calm down. Later, Mrs. Dana was able to find a vein and continued her antibiotics. I really appreciate the great care that Mrs. Dana showed my mom. She was very professional, caring, kind, and friendly. I know that as a charge nurse, she has a lot of responsibility, and we are grateful for all of her hard work and great care. We can’t thank you enough, Mrs. Dana. May the Lord continue to bless your talents and your family.

2. I was in Dana's care while hospitalized for the removal of blood clots in my legs. At the age of 82, I had difficulty doing certain things for myself. One of those was toileting. Whenever I called for assistance with a bedpan or bedside commode, Dana would always come. She never lost her smile or gracious attitude. What might have been a humiliating experience felt more like a friend helping a friend.
