Damaris went above and beyond. Her intuition, communication, determination, and love exceeded what I would ever have imagined from a nurse.
My husband was admitted twice for gastric varices and spent 2 ½ weeks at Eisenhower. We are so thankful for the amazing care we received.
The staff in the ICU is incredible; all the nurses were wonderful. Damaris went above and beyond. Her intuition, communication, determination, and love exceeded what I would ever have imagined from a nurse.
My husband coded, and after the rapid response team brought him back, she cared for him with such determination to get him to make it.I deferred to her when doctors were asking me tough questions, and I felt 100% trust in her.
She was our rock; the love and dedication were profound to witness. I’m totally moved by all of these profoundly beautiful people who saved him. I’m forever grateful to everyone and especially to Damaris.
