I'm writing to express my heartfelt gratitude for the exceptional care I received during my stay at Mattei Cardiothoracic Surgery ICU.

I would like to highlight the outstanding support provided by Dalton Froehlich, who went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and well-being.

There were many days when I felt so bad that I just wanted to lie in bed, but when Dalton showed up, his positive energy and support gave me the strength I needed to push through pain. For example, the doctors told me they wanted me to try to walk every day to build my strength in preparation for my double transplant.

I remember one particular hard day after having dialysis, I was so tired and told them I didn't want to walk. Dalton leaned down and whispered, "Don't worry, I've got you. You can lean on me." Because of that, I walked seven laps around the ICU.

Dalton is an amazing, fantastic, and wonderful nurse, but most of all, he is a great person/  My family and I are grateful that God allowed us to meet him on this journey. He will forever be our family and friend.
