I have had several parents mention how she took the time to explain everything and how she put them at ease, especially if they had to leave the floor. She seeks out every opportunity to learn new skills, new diagnoses, and how to better herself overall as a Healthcare giver. Her commitment to her patient's and families' well-being has made a significant impact on our night team. Because of her attention to detail, she caught two incorrect medication dosages, brought them to the attention of the doctors as well as the charge, and made sure new orders were written. Her kindness and commitment to excellence shine through in everything she does, both as a caregiver and as a coworker. She always goes the extra step to ensure patient safety and patient comfort, which in turn creates a supportive atmosphere for the pediatric floor. She anticipates her team's needs and is proactive in finding solutions to any issues arising during our shift. She is an asset to my team, and she is the night shift "Daisy."
