Nurse Turner sets the pace and the model for all other supervisors and nurses to follow. She is an expert in her field. She's reliable, responsive in a timely manner (always), and goes above and beyond. This has been a very difficult last 18 months. I've endured 5 heart procedures since the latter half of 2024 and the loss of my son in April.

She has been a primary “go to” for me. The particular areas of concern and care were/are both emotional and physical. Despite arriving from and losing reliable continuity of care (from San Diego VA), I have been blessed to be given such fine oversight from Primary Care Team 3, but especially Nurse Turner. Most recently, she addressed action and breakthrough (others couldn’t sort out) for consideration for a service dog for me.

When I was hospitalized in Ohio last summer, she had me seen the very day I was to arrive from my return trip to my home in Greenville, SC. The care, oversight, excellent follow-up, and timeliness have directly contributed to the advances, breakthroughs in life, and next steps and best practices for my continuity of care. If Asheville, VA is #1, Nurse Turner is a major reason, thanks to her unmatched care. In my 70 years, with 20 of them being in the USAF, I have never had anyone as stellar in every area of care as Nurse Cynthia Turner.
