Cydney Byous, RN

Cydney is a very special person, caring, considerate, and dependable, always willing to help in any way she can. My husband was in the hospital nearly a month, on every floor; it seemed like the ICU, 5 th floor, and 4 th floor. However, the 4 th floor is the one that stole our hearts.

Cydney would always come in ready for a new day and challenge, no matter how she felt. She made us feel special, always giving me hugs and words of encouragement on days that were tough for me.

She was always willing to shift my husband to make him comfortable, no matter if she had done it 15 minutes earlier. She never lost her patience, always asking if I needed anything even though I wasn't the patient. Her giant hugs knew what spot to hit, and I will cherish them as we go through the challenges of hospice.

She even answered my husband's medicine questions about what it was for and entered the room with a smile on her face every time.

Mosaic is very fortunate to have an employee like Cydney. Don't get me wrong, all the nurses and techs were wonderful, but Cydney stood above and beyond. We feel very fortunate to have had her expertise as a nurse to take care of my husband.

Her parents should be very proud of their daughter and the way they brought her up.
