Crystal O Zimmerman, RN
At 28 years old, I was diagnosed with bladder cancer and told I had to start BCG immunotherapy after having a TURBT. My first BCG went horribly. I won’t go into all the details, but I was physically and emotionally unwell after this experience.
I was switched to Crystal for all my following treatments. She is so kind and caring at every appointment, in every email, and every phone call. Crystal listens when I ask questions and always gives me an answer, even if she has to consult with someone for an answer. She knows that I’m a human with a life outside of cancer treatment and works with me so I can get treatments around living my life.
Without Crystal, I think I would have significant anxiety about going to Rock Creek for care. I have to start intravesical chemo tomorrow, and while I’m dreading it, I know it will all be ok because Crystal is right there with me every step of the way.
