It is amazing to see how much dedication and kindness she brings to her care. It is my wholehearted belief that Crystal Jarding has made an enormous difference in the lives of her coworkers and patients.
I would like to thank the staff and share my story of why I believe they are so special. Crystal Jarding is an individual who has such a positive impact on those around her. Crystal's quality of care and the impact it has on her patients are something that is truly life-changing. It is amazing to see how much dedication and kindness she brings to her care. There have been multiple occasions I have seen her demonstrate this behavior, so I will summarize a few.
When Crystal is on the phones in our clinic, I have overheard her interactions with patients while I am in the pod. There have been multiple times where she has provided a listening ear and an open heart to patients who have lost a lot, family members, friends, etc. I remember once when a patient called in in complete disarray, her mother had just gotten diagnosed with Alzheimer's, and the daughter had been working so hard to transition her to this new stage of life.
The daughter was calling in for something small for herself so she could continue to provide care. Well, while the daughter was on the phone, she became overwhelmed, and Crystal was there to reassure her and help her through the emotional overload. The patient was so grateful and appreciative that she was able to just talk to someone, even if it was for a few minutes, and that they were willing to listen so thoughtfully. This is just one example of the calls Crystal gets and one example of how she was able to help with so much compassion.
Not only does she help her patients and provide the best care, but she is also always helping around the clinic. She is always willing to jump in when we are short-staffed and super busy. She works behind the scenes to really make sure that the clinic and staff have what they need to provide the best care for patients. Making sure that resources for testing are available and prepped.
When we get new staff, she makes sure that new nurses have all of our clinic resources easily accessible, should they need them, and goes above and beyond to provide physical copies of how to find resources or ones that are more common for our clinic. Crystal answers questions when we inevitably need help and is willing to walk us through the process if we are even unsure. She always does this with a smile on her face and such a kind attitude.

Her connection not only benefits our patients, but its impact is felt deeply amongst our team and is something that I will carry with me for the rest of my career. She inspires me to be better and do all I can for our patients.
