Crystal became beautifully efficient and still maintained her caring and loving bedside manner, and made him feel much calmer.
We came in with my father, 89 years old, after having a fall two days ago. He insisted he was fine, but this morning, he finally agreed to go to the doctor's. The doctor's office sent us to the emergency department. We were welcomed by a lovely receptionist, we were admitted and met Crystal. Her upbeat, positive attitude made a scary visit seemingly very positive. She was exceptionally kind, professional, cheerful, and humane. She worked hard to make us both comfortable, going to another room to locate a chair for me to sit by my dad.

As the hours and situation escalated to a blood clot, Crystal became beautifully efficient and still maintained her caring and loving bedside manner, and made him feel much calmer. She is a wonderful, exceptional example of greatness. A balance of professional, efficient, and kind. It’s been a long day, so I find it tough to find the words, but she’s so great. Dad feels seen and taken care of. She has continued to check in on him and has been very committed to Dad‘s care. She is an example for other nurses and should be used as a training example of how kindness, compassion, humor, and professionalism meet to provide the best possible care.
