While Nurse Temar is accustomed to a hospital setting, he is also a dependable and reliable neighbor with a good heart to his diverse neighborhood. Even though he is new to his community, he always pays respect and shows kindness to the people in his surroundings. I can feel and attest that he has a good sense of humor and is a caring person.

One day, his neighbor’s dad was having shortness of breath all of a sudden. His neighbor called 911 for help, and what perfect timing was for Nurse Temar to be in the vicinity. Nurse Temar offered his services to assist her dad. He helped him sit upright and encouraged him to do deep breathing exercises while waiting for the ambulance to arrive. When the EMT came, Nurse Temar immediately shared with them some vital information known to him from observing and attending to the patient. Her dad was brought to the emergency department at UMC and admitted. While her dad was admitted, Nurse Temar stopped by to say hi and ask how is her dad whenever possible.

Several days after being admitted, a lot of things happened, and he had a poor prognosis. They decided to go for comfort, and he later passed away. She let Nurse Temar known of her dad’s passing, he comforted her and paid his tribute to her dad. Nurse Temar played an extraordinary role for their family and he is truly one of a kind nurse that everyone should have.
