Courtney Shoemake, RN

During my mother's hospital stay following her surgery, Nurse Courtney Shoemake showcased the compassion and dedication that define exceptional nursing care. Despite the language barrier, as my mother doesn't speak English, Courtney treated her with extraordinary kindness and respect.

She was consistently attentive, often checking in on my mom and anticipating her needs. When my mother needed to walk for her recovery, Courtney was gentle and patient, taking the time to help her move at her own pace.

What stood out most was how Courtney made us feel valued rather than burdensome. She never rushed us or showed frustration when we needed assistance. Her genuine care created an environment where my mother could focus on healing, and our family could feel supported during a stressful time.
