I will always carry with me the care and love I received from my time at Del Webb and Courtney.
I don’t have enough words to say how thankful I am to have encountered this RN. I met her multiple times when I had to visit the triage when I was pregnant with my daughter. She always seemed to remember me and greeted me with a kind smile and wonderful care. She was so reassuring and answered my questions with grace and patience.
The last time I encountered Courtney, my baby had passed away. I had to be induced because I was not in labor, and it was a hard three days to say the least. I had the privilege of having her by my side for two of those days. She stepped up to be my nurse knowing I would appreciate a familiar face. She was my rock. Always made sure I understood every small detail of my induction, supported me through the pain of my labor, and cried with me when my daughter was born.
She helped with my son during those long 3 days as well, understanding how important and necessary it was for him to be near me during such a time. She did not treat him as if he was a burden or in the way, instead helping to entertain him and talk to him about his baby sister, who would soon come sleeping.
She helped me bathe my daughter and take photos that I will cherish for the rest of my life. She helped me make it through the worst day of my life, and thank you does not encompass the gratitude I feel. I am finishing up my nursing program this December, and I plan to one day go into labor and delivery. I will always carry with me the care and love I received from my time at Del Webb and Courtney. I hope to one day make the impact she has on my own patients.
