Courtney has been an invaluable team member for the orthopedic surgery team since she started with us. She consistently provides exceptional patient care for all our surgical patients. She hosts an educational class for our total joint patients several times during the week. There have been multiple instances in which patients cannot attend the scheduled class, and Courtney will offer to meet them at different locations or speak with them by phone so they can benefit from the class content prior to surgery. Courtney is our Orthopedic Nurse Navigator. She oversees so many patients in the office, from the moment they are referred for surgery to 12 months post-op. She demonstrates effortless care and compassion to patients by providing immersive education at every checkpoint. She has a warm and passionate demeanor that makes her easily approachable by patients, providers, and team members. She consistently seeks to improve her processes and meet patients' needs by going above and beyond. Patients frequently report to providers how helpful she was in answering questions. She rounds on patients pre- and post op with the goal of ensuring ease and education at every step. Providers also often compliment her dedication to patient care and love working with her.
