This DAISY Award Nominee had two nominations from patients:
The first was from a gracious parent who said, "Thank you so much for taking care of my little man. Cory's patience, kindness, and firmness were just what a tired guy struggling to breathe needed. I hope you are reminded regularly of how awesome you are and how much your patients appreciate you. I don't even want to know what our ER stay would have been like if you weren't there. You Rock!"
Another patient said that when he was in the ER, his nurse, Cory, was able to keep him smiling. "This is very significant to me because my pain was at its highest, and I was having a hard time dealing with things. Nurse Cory had me smiling and laughing, which helped me take my mind off the pain."
