Collin McMahon, BSN, RN

He was overall amazing with everything he did. He was fast, attentive, and so kind. What made the biggest difference was that he brought so many toys and a huge play mat into our room to keep my 2-year-old entertained. He even played with my son for a few minutes when he had time. Collin also had Child Life come in before I could even ask so that I could go grab food and a much-needed coffee. Collin was on top of things before I could even ask, which I so appreciated! For example, he would bring in my son's next bottle when it was roughly time so that I didn’t have to buzz the nurses' station and ask for it. If my son was about to go down for a nap or the night, he would check when his next breathing treatment was due, and if it was soon, he would message the breathing treatment person to see if they could come to our room as soon as possible so that we weren’t waiting up and my son could go to sleep sooner. He was so considerate with everything he did. He truly made our stay at SLCH much more pleasant. We had Collin as our day nurse two days in a row. We loved him!
