Colleen is a valued part of the nursing team at Sharon Hill. She is compassionate and lets nothing hold her back when she cares and advocates for the participants. Recently, Colleen worked tirelessly to find best options for a participant, who suffered from mental illness exacerbation. Colleen checked on her daily to be sure she was eating and complying with her medication regimen, which was key to recovery. She supported the participant's son through this difficult time as he had dealt with this his whole life and was becoming increasingly overwhelmed. Colleen created a plan to keep this participant safely at home as long as possible.

Every participant is treated with compassion and dignity; Colleen’s demeanor is kind and soft spoken. Colleen’s plans of care are individualized and carried out with excellence. She realizes our participants are our customers, and their satisfaction with their healthcare is most important. Colleen is the first to volunteer to perform a home visit or work on weekends to fill in when needed.

It is apparent that Colleen loves what she does and wants to pursue her NP degree. Colleen stands and speaks up for participants when they cannot do it themselves. Colleen is a wonderful person to work with and a very special colleague at Sharon Hill.
