This team has proved its resilience time and time again with each call and/or meeting conducted, as well as on-site travel that comes with elbow support for those clinicians on the front line.
Aligned with fostering an inclusive environment that leverages diverse backgrounds and perspectives to drive sustainable competitive advantage, this clinical consultant team strives to facilitate the Federal EHRM project by bringing together nurses from diverse backgrounds to develop implementation plans. In the time I have spent being on this team, I have seen countless efforts to improve workflows, presentations, and overall learning. Clinical consultants on this team have a collaborative and innovative spirit, working alongside their solution consultants; the aim is to produce quality work while making significant strides to align the current needs of diverse facilities and standardize what is required to achieve the best possible outcomes for the Veterans we serve. I have been to multiple team meetings where the focal point is, "What can we do better for our Veterans?" How can we disseminate this information in a way that is helpful and provides value not only to clinicians but to those they serve? The efforts to carry out this EHRM project have been challenging, heartbreaking, and at times seemed like an impossible task. However, this team has proved its resilience time and time again with each call and/or meeting conducted, as well as on-site travel that comes with elbow support for those clinicians on the front line. Although the future may seem uncertain and ambiguous, I believe wholeheartedly that the grit this nurse-led team embodies will enable them to accomplish any goal they set. For this reason, I am honored to nominate this Clinical Consultant team for the DAISY Award!
